Speaker: Eric Lai (Arts Technology Director)
Though technology advances by leaps and bounds, incorporating cinematic visual effects into coventional theatre stages still appears impossible. Eric Lai will share how he deconstructs VFX syntax and translates it onto the stage as a key strategy. This encompasses real-time projection, motion tracking, parallax design and safety management, enabling audiences to witness the birth of this “impossible” magic live.
Online enrolment will commence from 10am, 12 November (Wednesday).
Tickets are limited, on a first-come-first-served basis.
The activity has a quota of 60. Each email address can enrol for a maximum of 2 participants.
